As an HR Data Analyst working on the HR Operations team, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. You will contribute to our mission by delivering superior customer service to employees and HR colleagues across the organization maintaining a high level of integrity. In a typical day, you will:
Ensure data integrity for all HR processes and programs.
Develop and promote data integrity through audit processes and resolution of data discrepancies.
Assist in creating and revising standard practices as discrepancies are resolved.
Recommend related efficiency improvements.
Assist with entry and maintenance of HR Data.
Support HR Service Center during periods of high volume and act as a backup for HR data entry and maintenance as needed.
Act as functional testing lead during SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation and all other SuccessFactors modules as implemented.
Provide production support for HRIS reporting including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS issues, unexpected results or process flaws; performs scheduled activities such as system updates and audits; recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Assist with the design, of new policies and procedures related to HR systems and data.
Create and maintain required operational, regulatory and legal compliance related reports such as the annual EEO-1, Veterans and Affirmative Action reports.
Analyze the reports and provide summaries highlighting areas of opportunity and risk for the leadership team.
Drive operational excellence in the HR Analysis function by identifying and developing alternative methods for optimizing and streamlining data maintenance and reporting.
Focus on increased efficiencies and quality improvement.
Analyze data to recommend process and customer service improvements, innovative solutions, or policy changes that add increased value and efficiency to the organization.
Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation related to the data maintenance and reporting solutions.
Train clients on reporting functionality.
Assist the Sr. Manager, HR Operations with HR projects as assigned.
Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and maximize opportunities to use HR information and technology to improve business processes.
Identify and document system deficiencies and recommends solutions.
Ensure that all tests are conducted and documented according to IT standards.
Coordinate groups of business stakeholders who test, evaluate and validate new functions and applications, and identify issues in software or services.
Conduct regular quality control activities to assure accurate data and processes.
Perform all other essential duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in human resources, business administration, or management.
Minimum of 5 years of related business/human resources/project management experience is required.
Minimum of 3 years SAP HR experience; OR, a minimum of 1 year SAP experience plus experience as a core team member during an ERP implementation is strongly preferred.
SuccessFactors Employee Central or SAP HCM is strongly preferred.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to act as a champion for HR data quality, accuracy and maintenance.
Excellent customer service capabilities and demonstrated high level of responsiveness.
Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff.
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to independently use data and analysis to convey findings and recommendations to all levels within the organization.
Demonstrates learning agility in working with new, complex business problems and to provide innovative, value added solutions.

The primary responsibility of the HR Data Analyst is to maintain a high level of quality of HR data and to provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis support for the HR team. The incumbent serves as the HR data steward across HR and ensures operational excellence in data quality and reporting. He/She will perform a variety of analytical tasks, including but not limited to: analyzing data quality for improvement opportunities and tracking data analysis trends, report generation, data trending and system auditing and testing. The incumbent will partner with Olympus colleagues across HR and other corporate functions to design reports and identify data audit opportunities to continually improve the quality of HR data. The HR Data Analyst will also play a key role in QA testing during our SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation and quarterly maintenance.
