Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Information Technology is required.
Must be Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified, gained in transactional areas.
Must be currently or very recently operating in a full time Black Belt role, for a minimum of 5 continuous years.
Minimum of 10 years working within an environment of process excellence is required.
Minimum of 10 years training other LSS practitioners to certified belt level is required.
Must have project management experience, to independently initiate and execute projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
Must have program management experience, coordinating many in-flight projects and ensuring successful completion.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio.
Experience with statistical applications is required - Minitab or equivalent.
Must be able to influence and motivate people at all organizational levels.
Must be able to manage conflict through proactive action and clear communication.
Expected travel 5-10%, mainly North/Central/South America.
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology is preferred.
Experience in medical device, life sciences or other highly regulated industrial environment is preferred.

As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt on the Project Management and Business Optimization team, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work.
Lead and facilitate Lean Six Sigma (LSS) improvement initiatives and projects focused on transactional and operational processes, utilizing the DMAIC approach and deploying a comprehensive range of LSS tools and methodologies.
Train, coach and mentor our LSS Practitioners (Green Belts), to help them attain certification.
Provide awareness training and mentoring to other employees, who will be our LSS Advocates (White Belts).
Provide data analysis that supports process design and re- engineering of business processes.
Create and monitor Key Performance Indicators to generate process performance data, to quantify improvement gains, and to sustain the benefits of completed projects.
Work with stakeholders and process owners to support their initiatives, to develop their process metrics, and to improve their processes.
Through collaborative leadership, identify and prioritize cross- functional project resources within our matrix organization.
Work with Black Belts and Master Black Belts positioned elsewhere within the company, to share best industry practices.
Manage our Improvement Project Portfolio, ensuring that that project status reports are regularly issued, and that benefits are quantified and tracked.
Summarize and disseminate project execution lessons learned, at project closure.
Oversee the process of capturing and evaluating new ideas, to maintain the project pipeline of improvement opportunities.
Identify and publicize success stories, including sustainable Quick Wins, to recognize individual and team efforts, and to grow our CI Culture.
Perform all other essential duties as assigned.
