Job Requirements::

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of website development and design for customer product (not internal IT applications).

  • Experience with Angular 5.0+.

  • Typescript programming & Javascript frameworks.

  • Communications experience with RESTful Services & data binding.

  • Experience implementing and programming Web Sockets, ie. SignalR.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with other programming technologies such as C#, ASP.Net, and PHP.

  • Experience using VS code as a development environment.

  • Knowledge of object oriented programming skills in C# or Java preferred, XML, & JSON.

  • Experience with a software control system, i.e. git.

  • Focus on security based development.

  • Ability to write & execute automated UI & unit tests.

  • Experience using VS code as a development environment.

  • Previous experience with Azure and IoT applications.

  • Understanding of FDA 21 CFR 820.30 (design controls).

  • Self-starter and ability to diagnose problems quickly & with quality.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work well with test engineering to transition software & identify and resolve field problems during integration testing.

Job Duties::

As a Senior Web Application Software Engineer working on the Image Stream Medical R&D team, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. You will contribute to our mission by helping to design and build world class, cutting edge software used for patient care in hospitals worldwide. This is a hands on position. You will roll up your sleeves and participate in the agile process by gathering requirements, prototyping concepts, designing software solutions, writing specifications, helping with testing efforts, and at times helping to support field issues with software products within your domain of expertise. In a typical day, you will:

  • Design & develop the web applications, including the user interface/usability/layout, workflow and framework.

  • Unit testing to resolve integration issues prior to verification & validation.

  • Work with Test Engineering to resolve issues during verification testing period.

  • Writing software and/or system design specifications.

  • Support of service & field related issues as they arise.

  • Keep up to date with advances in web technologies and how this affects the business environment.

  • Create visual concepts that match Image Stream Medical's image & ensure that content is easy to navigate.

  • Perform maintenance and updates to existing web applications.

  • Solid technical understanding of the software and hardware in the Image Stream products within your technical responsibility.

  • Ability to work independently and to help lead problem solving and development tasks with other team members.

  • Perform all other essential duties as assigned.

The Senior Web Application Software Engineer implements new features and provides maintenance support for existing web applications relating to the EasySuite surgical integration & recording systems.The incumbent will be responsible for building new web applications using new and innovative web technologies for on-premise and cloud hosted platforms. He/She will also work with an existing team, software infrastructure, and product.
