Job Requirements::

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College diploma in electronics or business or equivalent knowledge.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in service repair.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong supervisory skills.

  • Conflict resolution skills.

  • Employee performance assessment knowledge.

  • Computer literacy including software applications (Word, Word Perfect, Excel, Access, etc.).

  • Counseling skills.

  • Strong endoscope repair experience.

  • Hepatitis B vaccination is recommended for employees who are at risk for exposure to blood or other bodily fluids on the job. Service responsibilities include the handling of products and equipment that may have potentially come into contact with blood or bodily fluids. OCI requires that all employees working in areas that may be exposed to these risk, either provide proof of the Twinrix (Hepatitis A and B) vaccination or sign a waiver accepting the possible risk of exposure from not being vaccinated. Job Duties::

In a typical day, you will:

  • Supervise the repair technicians assigned to the same shift.

  • Assist the Senior Manager of Technical Services in managing employees, by evaluating employee performance and ensuring employees meet established standards.

  • Ensure the technicians meet established quality standards and productivity goals.

  • Counsel employees on performance when required.

  • Distribute functional assignments and ensure timely completion of those assignments.

  • Manage employee attendance using TMS.

  • Assist technicians with problem repairs.

  • Work with the Training Manager to schedule technical training.

  • Exhibit all corporate and divisional expectations of people leaders to include, but not be limited to developing employees, managing employee performance engagement, promoting continuous improvement, managing department business communications, driving organizational alignment, selecting retaining talent, and consistently modeling excellence, integrity, and accountability.

  • Perform all other essential duties as directed.
